The Boy and his family lived in a rundown Hotel (As shown by the Arrow Sign pointing down). The Hotel the Boy lived in often had a lot of problems when it came to pipes. The Boy’s Father worked in a slaughterhouse. The Boy and his Sister were very adventurous and would often explore caves. Because the Boy and his Sister were very active, they would often jump and play around the chopped down trees.Īll the Children had a lot of tree houses but because they didn’t like the Boy, they would refuse him access, which caused The Boy to ask for his own tree house. The Boy’s Father was a lumberjack and would cut a lot of trees. The Boy’s Father would often make different treehouses and structures for his kids to play on. The Boy’s Father was a lumberjack for a brief period of time. The Boy and his Sister spent a lot of time playing in the woods. The Boy visited the mineshafts with his Father and got to experience being in a mine cart. The Boy experimented with Magnets during his Science projects. The Boy worked a lot with mechanics and machinery. The Boy has a deep fear of insects and always sees any insect as a MASSIVE CREATURE instead of their actual size. The Boy was very interested in Science and would make a lot of inventions. The furry creature is most likely a pet the Boy owned. The Black Creatures are the Boy’s rational thoughts that snap him back into reality. The Glowing Worms are the Boy’s intrusive thoughts that he often acts on (Such as carelessly jumping into pits, spikes, water or allowing himself to be crushed). This is also seen when the Children set up traps. This is shown when the first Child makes a fake Spider as a way to deter the kid and keep him away. The Boy is a loner and doesn’t fit well with others. The Boy never learned how to swim or has an extreme fear of drowning that causes him to freeze up when in water. The Boy is shown to be very athletic (He can run without running out of breath, can climb trees, poles and rope with ease and can lift himself up onto ledges) and was a very active child. The Boy was very fond of collecting random objects he found. The Boy wakes up moments later, before then meeting up with his Sister who was patiently waiting for him.Īfter completing the game, the menu screen then shows the broken ladder to the tree house, along with a decomposing body which is both the Boy and his Sister. Finally, after completing his life, the Boy crashes through the plane glass as he finally escapes LIMBO. The entire game is the Boy’s relieving his entire life before he hit the ground and die. PART 4: Life flashing before the Boy’s eyes Because of this, their souls weren’t able to find each other and the Boy was stuck in LIMBO until he completed his journey. The impact had killed both of them, but at different times. However, on one fatal day the ladder that lead up to the tree house suddenly snapped and both the Boy and his Sister went crashing down to the ground. The Father built the tree house and the Boy and his Sister would hang out around it a lot. Being jealous of this, the Boy asked his Father to build them a tree house. Many of the Children that the Boy knew had a treehouse somewhere in the woods. It was around this time the Boy had developed his fear of insects and Spiders. Because of this, the Boy spent a lot of time with his Sister in the forest, just messing around and exploring. Any kids he tried to hang out with would both abandon him or bully and hurt him. The Boy wasn’t a very popular or social kid. The list of jobs the Father had (in no particular order) were a mineshaft worker, a butcher, a factory worker but the last job was always a lumberjack. After settling down, the Father needed to get a job to support his family because they weren’t doing very well financially. After returning, the Father got married and had 2 kids, The Boy and the Sister. Before the Boy was born, his Father joined the war.
